First Aid at Work

Outline

Our courses offer a practical, hands-on approach that delivers the skills and confidence to use first aid skills in a real life situation.
Learners must:
  • have a basic command of English. Whilst we are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language, our ability to do so is limited by the time available.
  • be physically able to carry out the practical elements of the course
  • attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.

Description

This course provides the comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work, giving you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies.

This course is designed for people who want to receive the most thorough first aid training and is especially suited for nominated workplace first aiders looking to gain comprehensive, certified HSE approval. The course will be delivered by an external facilitator.

The duration of the course is three days. Delegates must attend and complete all aspects of the course to qualify for certification.

The assessment process will be through observation accompanied with written exercises.
